CASE STUDY:
Wendy Sarange Manyange was approximately born in 2002. She is an only child and no one knows for sure what year she was born. Her parents were killed in 2007 during the National Election. Wendy was left alone with no one to care for her. She was very stressed and cried for rescue.

We brought her into the program in May of 2009. She is in the 4th grade for the 2010 school year. She is now smiling and has hope and is in the top ten students in the class. She loves to play with toys and strings. Her best game is handball.

Milly Titus — SPONSORED

CASE STUDY:
Milly Titus was born in February of 2008. Her father passed away in 2008 from malaria and her mother passed away in 2009. Milly has two brothers and one sister and all were taken in by uncles. The uncles were very poor and the children were not educated. However, now all the children are in school.

We brought Milly into the program in November of 2009. She is not in school yet but we expect to place her in the Baby class in 2011. She is a very happy child and smiles a lot and is in good health.

Marthar Morara – SPONSORED

CHILD’S NAME: MARTHAR MORARA
AGE: 5 YEARS OLD
SEX: FEMALE
GRADE: PRE-UNITY
RESIDENCE: KENYAN

CASE STUDY:
Marthar Morara was born in 2004. Her parents both passed away due to PTB caused by septicemia. Marthar and her brother were taken in by their grandfather who is unable to care for their basic needs. Marthar became very ill and was taken to the hospital where she was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Her health had deteriorated and she felt rejected.

We brought her into the program in March of 2010. She is now in the pre-unity class for the 2010 school year and she is doing well. Despite her health, she is doing well with the medical drugs that she has to take daily.
