CASE STUDY:
Kevin Ogetare was born in May of 2000. His father passed away and he never got to know his father. His mother is unable to care for the basic needs of Kevin and his siblings due to her addictions. Many nights the children are left alone. Kevin’s older siblings do not attend school due to a lack of school uniforms, books, and pens.

We brought Kevin into the program in August of 2009 and he is in the 5th grade for the 2010 school year and is doing well. Kevin loves football and is a strong athlete.

Kerebi Sereti — SPONSORED

SEX: FEMALE
GRADE: FIVE
RESIDENCE: KENYAN

CASE STUDY:
Kerebi Sereti was both in March of 2000. She lost both of her parents to highland malaria. Her mother passed away in 2004 and her father passed away in 2006. A neighbor took her in but due to her age was unable to care for the child’s daily and school needs and Kerebi became sick due to starvation. We brought her into the program in April of 2009 and she has gotten over her illness and has gained her strength back.

She is now in the 5th grade for the 2010 school year. She is doing well in her class performance and she enjoys playing netball and is very joyful.

Judy Gesare Ondieki — SPONSORED

CASE  STUDY:

Judy Gesare Ondieki was born in August of 2004 and is the youngest of five children.  Her mother passed away in 2006 and her father passed away in 2008.  She and her 4 siblings were left alone and only two of the children were able to go to school.  The two oldest brothers are not in school.

We brought Judy into the program in October of 2009 and she is now in the first grade for the 2010 school year.  She is happy and is able to smile now.
